It is Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hai’s advice for students and parents whose studying overseas intention. The advice was given during “How studying in America differs from studying in Vietnam” Seminar at IvyPrep Centerpoint Opening Ceremony. Mr. Hai – Senior Advisor at Institute of America Education – was the honor guest speaker of the seminar.
In the seminar, parents got a better look into America’s college education environment, hence orienting their children for better overseas study plan since an early age. Mr. Hai clarified the main differences in mindsets, points of view and learning methods that make Vietnamese students struggle in an American college, resulting in under-performance and limiting their own potential.
Therefore, to get the best out of their time studying overseas, it is crucial for students to fully prepare themselves, including academic knowledge, studying skills and a vast range of personal skill sets.
